Shooting Star
Here I am in the sun
Enjoying every minute having fun
Eating burgers & dogs on the bun
With that special someone
Till the sun for the day is done
Then the stars start to come
And I hold tight my “Hun”
A shooting star flies by like from a gun
Make a wish… I think a ton
But I’m only aloud… one
so my mind goes numb
to think of the “1”... wish that isn’t dumb
Then I think of the one that is # 1
A good soul that always has some!
That is the wish with the two up thumb
As many wishes as I want um
And good soul to always help someone
Just like a minister, priest or nun
Always giving love and happiness to em
Till I die and at my funeral they roll the drum
I hope my life made a difference to someone
For in my heart with out this wish: I’m just a bum
That is just a “no one”
A crumb
With no reason just like the drunk on rum
So I hope my wish has won
And comes true & my life has reason: and isn’t done
& My promise to Thy Lord: that’s where it’s from
To help others will keep on going on

Fireworks of different colors up in the sky,
celebrating the constitutional freedom of the 4th of July!

while the National Anthem is sang.
“We The People” come together strong
While we sing our nation’s song.
Independence and freedom we want to be,
a nation for the people; and free.
So shoot those fireworks in the sky,

A Father
(Father’s Day Poem)
I thank God that I was blessed with a true father.
A True Father, Not a drunk, or someone who is a bother.
A father that is still with my mother still today.
A father that didn't hit or abuse me in any way...
A father that worked hard his whole life,
to take care of four sons and his wife.
A father that was there on my wedding night
and was there to dance with my wife.
The beautiful lady in white
And excepted her as his new daughter in his life.
A father that was there when I was in a hospital gown,
or when I was just feeling down.
A father who is in church on his knees...
praying for me to have a better life.. please God please.
My father has always been there.
My father has always been fare
And loves me and shows that he does care.
I thank God for my Dad
a world with out him would be so sad
So I want him to know I love him in every way
And So I will let the world know it This Father's Day

Mother’s Day Poem
Who was it that showed you the way?
Who was it that made you who you are today?
Was it a friend, Aunt, Uncle, Sister or Brother?
Was it your father, or most likely your Mother?
Who was it that would come see…
If you cried out, or hurt or knee?
Who was always there to give you a hug?
And told you, “You are their little love bug?”
Who made you meals every day?
Kept you healthy so you wouldn’t wither away?
I’m going to guess you said your mother a lot
Is she someone in your heart that you bring to the top?
If she is that person you hold above,
If she is the one you truly love,
Raise her up high like a dove,
Take care of her as if she is a white glove.

Victory Day - Russia!
In honor of the great people of Russia who fought back for their country after being attacked by NAZI Germany.
We give Victory to all those brave Men & Woman!

2010 Russian Victory Day Parade has done what has never been seen before in Russia. The honor of all the nations who fought with Russia during WWII.
We All have dreams... We all have wishes... Sometimes we know our wishes are impossible... But sometimes it is healthy and refreshing to dream. Let your imagination go wild!

This detailed 7 minute film is over 104 years old. It's priceless! No traffic lights, no pedestrian crossings, just one big free-for-all!
Going back in time!
This film was "lost" for many years. It was the first 35mm film ever. It was taken by camera mounted on the front of a cable car
The amount of automobiles is staggering for 1906. Absolutely amazing! The clock tower at the end of Market Street at the Embarcadero wharf is still there.
(I'm also wondering ... how many "street cleaning" people were employed to pick up after the horses?)
Great historical film worth watching.

This film, originally thought to be from 1905 until David Kiehn with the Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum figured out exactly when it was shot. From New York trade papers announcing the film showing to the wet streets from recent heavy rainfall & shadows indicating time of year & actual weather and conditions on historical record, even when the cars were registered (he even knows who owned them and when the plates were issued!) It was filmed only four days before the quake and shipped by train to NY for processing.

When I was a child: I read the diary of Anne Frank
Due to race or religion: soldiers killed off people with their tank
This story was very sad to me.
For I believe all people should be free
And this story wasn’t about a fiction girl who wasn’t who
It was about a real girl name Anne Frank that was true.
Her heart: Her feelings, her pain: was real
Not fiction: So when you read it: You can feel.
Her love for her family & her friends & for all
Her story is a blessing & a wake up call
Remember history can repeat it’s self if we let it!
So we must stand strong as gate keepers and not let it.
The only rights you have are the ones you fight for
Once they are gone, you will not get more.
The weapons you have now; are the only one you have to fight
Once they are gone. You’ll loss your right.
